Car door puddle lights — also called door logo projectors or welcome lights — are LED bulbs that fit into the door panel socket at the lower edge of your car door. When you open the door, the light projects your car’s logo onto the ground below. When the door closes, the light switches off automatically. They connect directly to the factory door switch circuit — no separate switch, no hardwiring and no coding required.

Our car door puddle lights are replacement products — they fit cars that already have a factory door light socket at the lower edge of the door panel. Before ordering, check the bottom edge of your car door for a small circular light. If the light is present, our puddle lights are compatible. Cheaper car door puddle lights use a film chip or PMMA acrylic lens — these fade and discolour within 6–12 months, giving a blurry or yellow-tinted projection. Our HD quartz glass lens maintains a sharp, vivid and colour-accurate logo projection for the full life of the vehicle. Quartz glass also has higher light transmission, making the projection brighter and more visible in all lighting conditions.

Installation takes under 5 minutes per door. Use the included removal tool to unclip and remove the existing factory door light bulb. Insert the new LED puddle light into the same socket with the lens facing downward. Push the socket back in and twist to lock. The light will activate automatically the next time you open the door. No drilling, no wiring, no coding and no professional installation required.

Yes. All our car door puddle lights carry an IP67 waterproof rating — fully sealed against rain, snow and car washes. They are rated for operating temperatures from -30°C to 85°C (-22°F to 185°F), making them safe for all driving conditions and climates year-round.

Car door puddle lights fit into the socket at the lower edge of the door panel and project onto the ground when the door opens. Mirror puddle lights fit into the underside of the side mirror housing and project alongside the car when you unlock it. Some cars have both socket types — door and mirror. Others have only one. Each listing includes 2 puddle lights — one for each front door. Most cars have door light sockets in all 4 doors. To cover all 4 doors, order 2 sets (4 lights total). If you only want the front doors illuminated, one set of 2 is sufficient. Check the product listing to confirm whether the set covers 2 or 4 doors before ordering.
