Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Mercedes door lights
Are your Mercedes door lights compatible with my exact model?
Our Mercedes door lights cover C-Class (W203, W204, W205), E-Class (W211, W212, W213), S-Class, GLC, GLE, GLS, A-Class, B-Class, CLA, CLS and all AMG variants from 2000 to 2025. Check the compatibility table on each product page before ordering. Not sure? Message us on WhatsApp with your model and year and we confirm fit before you pay.
Will Mercedes door lights trigger a dashboard warning?
No. All our Mercedes door lights include a built-in canbus decoder chip that prevents any warning messages on the Mercedes MBUX or COMAND display. They draw stable, low current and are fully compatible with Mercedes electronics across all model years.
Do I need to drill or modify my car to fit Mercedes door lights?
No drilling or permanent modification is required. Our LED car door lights are direct plug-and-play replacements for the factory door socket. Installation takes under 10 minutes per door with only the included removal tool. No wiring changes, no coding.
How do I turn on Mercedes door lights?
Mercedes door lights activate automatically when you open the door — no switch needed. They connect to your car’s door switch circuit, so the light turns on the moment the door opens and turns off when it closes. If your lights are not activating, check that the bulb is fully seated in the socket and that your car has a factory door light socket (not just a reflector).
How do I turn on the lights when the door opens on a Benz?
The LED door projector lights are triggered by your door switch — the same switch that controls your interior dome light. When you open the door, the circuit activates and the logo is projected onto the ground automatically. There is no manual switch to press. If the light is not coming on, rotate the bulb 180° in the socket to check orientation, then confirm the socket is locked back into the door panel.
