What is a mirror puddle light?+
A mirror puddle light is an LED projector fitted into the underside of your car’s side mirror housing. When you unlock or open the door, it projects a logo — your car’s badge — onto the ground beside the car. It is a different product from door puddle lights, which fit into the door panel socket at the lower edge of the door.
What is the difference between mirror puddle lights and door puddle lights?+
Door puddle lights fit into the lower edge of the door panel and project when the door opens. Mirror puddle lights fit into the underside of the side mirror housing and project alongside the car. Some cars have both sockets — door and mirror. Others have only one. Check your mirror underside for an existing light socket before ordering. Do mirror puddle lights require drilling or wiring?+
No. Our mirror puddle lights are OEM 1-to-1 replacements — same dimensions and connector as your factory mirror light. No drilling, no wire cutting and no special tools required. The existing factory light simply unplugs and the new LED projector plugs into the same connector. Installation takes under 10 minutes per side.

Which Mercedes-Benz puddle lights shape should I choose — triangle or rectangle?+
Mercedes-Benz uses two different mirror puddle light shapes depending on the model. The Triangle version fits most C-Class, E-Class and GLC models. The Rectangle version fits S-Class, GLE and GLS models. To confirm which shape your Mercedes uses, look at the underside of your current side mirror — the shape of the existing light housing will tell you which version to order.
