Our Tesla door lights are compatible with all four current Tesla models: Model 3 (2017–2025, all variants including Standard Range, Long Range and Performance), Model Y (2020–2025, all variants including the 2024 Juniper refresh), Model S (2012–2025, including Plaid) and Model X (2015–2025, including Plaid). No drilling and no modifications to your Tesla’s bodywork or electrical system. Unlike traditional car door lights that replace a factory socket bulb, Tesla door lights use a magnetic clip or adhesive mount combined with an extension cable that routes power from the door jamb area. No wires are cut, no panels are permanently modified and no connection is made to the Tesla’s CAN bus or high-voltage system.

Our Tesla door lights are non-invasive accessories — no permanent modification is made to the vehicle, no Tesla software is altered and no connection is made to the CAN bus, HVAC or high-voltage system. Both describe the LED projector that mounts under the door and projects the Tesla logo onto the ground when the door opens. Most customers complete the installation in 10–15 minutes per door, following the included installation guide. The process involves attaching the light to the underside of the door panel using the magnetic clip or adhesive mount, routing the extension cable along the door jamb, and connecting the cable to the power point.
